Mumbai, Dec 21: A 70-year-old woman has been arrested by the city police for allegedly possessing 40 kilograms of ganja in suburban Bandra.
Gangubai Kshirsagar was arrested yesterday by the Bandra unit of Anti-Narcotics Cell and recovered Ganja worth Rs 10 lakh.
According to the police, Kshirsagar is a history-sheeter and has been convicted in the past for drug peddling. She has been dealing in drugs for over a decade.
Police suspect that she procured the drugs from Andhra Pradesh.
