Hyderabad: South Zone police booked a case against an Omani national and two local agents of old city in connection with the minor girls’ marriages with Arab national.
According to sources 19-year-old, Sana Begum, resident of Hasan Nagar, approached Falaknuma police and lodged a complaint, stating that 70-year-old, Ahmed Abdullah with the help of two local agents had lured her for marrying the Arab national by promising her Rs. 10 lakh. She further told that two agents including Kausar aunty insisted her to marry elderly Omani national.
Soon after the receipt of complaint, Falaknuma police booked a case against Omani national and two agents under section 370 of IPC. A team has been set up to arrest the accused.
Assistant Commissioner of police Falaknuma Mohammed Tajuddin Ahmed told that a case had been registered against Omani national Ahmed Abdullah for marrying minor girl.
