70 trucks of stones ordered for Ram Mandir construction: VHP

Ayodhya: Just a week ago RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said a law should be incorporated for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the town has become active again with visitors, devotees pouring in for a treat of Bhajans.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is making arrangements to begin the temple construction as soon as SC gives a favourable verdict for Hindu community in the Ayodhya disputed land case.

The group had stated it has already ordered more than 70 truckloads of stones for the construction of a three-storey temple which is expected to arrive soon, TOI reports.

Once the legal proceedings are in favor the VHP intends to leave no stone unturned and complete the construction as soon as possible.

The group is also roping in labor and artisans to speed up the work progress.

“We are not going to step back. Ye sachchai ki vijay ke liye ladai hai….(This is a battle for the victory of truth). We are just waiting for the Supreme Court order,” VHP’s international vice-president Champat Rai said.

While the main Muslim litigant in the case seemed not amused at VHPs arrangements.

He said the saffron party needs to stop VHP from taking action in the matter as the issue is not settled yet.

“Whenever elections are round the corner, VHP steps up its activities,” he said.
