Jalandhar: A seven-year-old boy died after suffering what is believed to be a heart attack while boarding a bus to home from his school this afternoon, officials said.
Priyansh, a Class II student at a private school, got on the bus after school when he suddenly collapsed. The school management immediately rushed him to a hospital, where he was declared dead, police officials said.
According to the police officials, the doctors said Priyansh died due to the sudden attack. When asked about the cause of the attack, the officials said it was yet not clear.
But the doctors said the minor died of the attack which could have resulted from the extreme heat, they added.
Meanwhile, the parents of the deceased child have not approached the police in this case, although they have requested the district administration to get the school shut.
