Rohtak (Haryana): A 7-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped near the Rohtak railway yard, police said Friday.
The accused left the profusely bleeding survivor at the yard from where she managed to reach home and narrated the ordeal to her parents after which a FIR was registered on Friday.
The incident took place on Thursday night at the railway yard, that is hardly 300 metres away from the railway police station.
On the complaint of the victim’s father, who claimed to have identified one of the accused, police registered a case and are on the lookout for two other accused men in the case.
Police said since no CCTVs were installed in the vicinity of the railway station else made it difficult to identify and nab the accused.
“A case has been registered and investigation is going on. Her father has identified one accused by name. Three teams have been constituted,” said Snehi Raj, SHO, Railway Police.
