Karbala, January 24: Two bomb explosions have struck crowds of Shia pilgrims in Iraq’s holy city of Karbala, leaving seven people dead and 18 others wounded, reports say.
The two bombs went off in the morning in a quick succession in the al-Ibrahimiyah area in eastern Karbala, some 110 km southwest of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Xinhua news agency quoted police sources as saying on Monday.
