Seven persons were grievously injured when a gas cylinder exploded in an apartment in Padmaraonagar here on Sunday.
According to the information, one Sridhar, a businessman, dealing with electrical goods invited his relatives and friends as a family member’s birthday coincided with the Bonalu festival.
When Sridhar’s wife was cooking food, the gas cylinder got burst. Sridhar, his wife and other family members were injured in the accident.
Police said that the condition of two of the injured was critical. The injured were rushed to the Gandhi Hospital from where one of them was shifted to the Apollo hospital.
