Rajkot, Februray 12: Seven persons including a woman, were hospitalised after consuming ‘bhang’ which was distributed as ‘prasad’ during Shivratri, police said here today.
The incident took place in Chhapra town on city’s outskirts where seven persons were given ‘bhang’ as prasad at Jungleshwar Mahadev temple, police said adding after consuming it all the seven started vomiting and lost consciousness.
They were all rushed to the civil hospital and one of them was taken to the ICU police said.
