Hyderabad: 2 more batches of pilgrims left for Holy pilgrimage from Hajj House Nampally. 680 pilgrims departed for Hajj in the state of Ihram in two batches with special flight of Air India.
Chairman Andhra Pradesh Hajj committee Momin Husain and other officials flagged off the batches. The first batch left at 9:10 am while the other left at 2:10 pm from Shamsabad International airport. 10 batches have left so far and 3398 pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia.
4 more flights are yet to take off from Hyderabad. 3 batches will embark on August 26. It is likely that the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will flag off the 3rd batch today.
