Hyderabad: As many as 637 samples were found to be positive for swineflu (H1N1) in the current season.
A report released by the state Health and Family Welfare Department on Thursday said that 637 samples has been found to be positive of H1N1 out of 5392 samples tested in the current season from 1st August 2015 to 24 February 2016.
The department stated that sufficient stock of medicines is available at all teaching hospitals, district and area hospitals. Enough testing kits are also there.
Citizens are advised to take precautions such as reporting to the hospital on first symptoms of swineflu like high fever, sneezing cough, and body pains.
The Department instructed all hospitals that when the patient comes with suspected symptoms, he should be admitted, medically examined and isolated. (NSS)
