Etela Rajender the in charge of Civil Supplies and the Finance Minister, informed the Assembly on Friday that 6.25 lakh BPL families would be provided with new domestic gas connections during the financial year 2014-15 under Deepam Scheme.
When asked about distribution of gas, the Finance Minister said orders have been issued to the district administrations. Soon after selection of the beneficiaries, the distribution process will commence, Rajender added.
