Hyderabad, December 31: A six-year-old boy died after being hit by a motorcycle at Singareni colony in Saidabad colony today.
Mahender, a resident of Chaderghat, came to his uncle’s house at Singareni Colony along with his mother Shoba.
While playing on the road, Mahender was hit by a motorist. The victim suffered internal injuries and died while being shifted to a local hospital.
Saidabad police said the accused fled from the scene after hitting the boy.
The police, however, seized the vehicle and efforts are on to nab the accused.
In another accident, a 16-year- boy died after his bicycle was hit by a goods carrier at Amberpet.
The boy, K Sai Raju, a class X student and resident of Jaswal Gardens, went to get his bicycle repaired near Ali Cafe and was retur ning home when the accident took place.
The boy died instantly due to severe head injuries.
