A 6-year-old girl was sexually harassed by her tutor near her home in Gangondanaalli on Wednesday, according to police. The victim and her brother used to attend Quran classes run by their neighbour Abdul Bari, 34year-old, a native of Bihar.
As per police complaint made by her mother, her children had gone to attend the class on Wednesday. While the boy returned home in an hour, there was no sight of the girl.
The mother who was worried went to the suspect’s house to look for her daughter but she did not find her there. The door of the kitchen in the house was locked. The girl’s mother asked for the suspect who said that the victim had gone home, police added.
After a while, the girl returned home. When the mother asked her where she was, the girl told her that the teacher had touched her private parts. The mother loses her nerve and called her husband who subsequently made a complaint to the police. Thereafter, the suspect was taken in police custody.
