New Delhi: Around 6.2 lakh students to take IGNOU’s term-end exams, scheduled between June 1 and June 21.
The examination will be held in various centres in Kendriya Vidyalayas, jails and abroad.
“For the first time, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) have been designated as examination centres,” said a release issued by IGNOU.
The university has set up 1,034 examination centres, including 100 centres in jails for inmates and 23 centres overseas. The exams will be held in two sessions – morning (10 am – 1 pm) and evening (2 pm – 5 pm).
The students can download hall tickets from the IGNOU website and report to the exam centres with student identity card.
The university has also sent text messages to the students informing about the exam and hall tickets.
“The SMS services shall continue during the entire examination period so that no student is deprived of the relevant information about examinations,” IGNOU said.
