Hyderabad: After the landslide victory in recent Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) began country-wide membership campaign on July 6 to include more and more members in the party. In Telangana, the party plans to enrol 18 lakh new members.
Senior leader and former MLA M Dharma Rao said that 6 lakh new members have been successfully included in the party cadre so far. He claimed that people, especially youth between the ages of 20 to 30 years, are fast getting attracted towards BJP. 7000 workers are working for membership campaign.
