6 injured in clash over bursting of firecrackers

New Delhi: Six people were injured in a clash between two groups over bursting of firecrackers during Diwali here, police said on Tuesday.

An argument over bursting crackers between Deepak and Irshad turned violent and members from both groups clashed with sticks on Monday. The injured have been hospitalised, they said.

Arif who suffered serious injuries has been referred to the Agra Medical College.

A case has been registered by Irshad and five others. The other party is yet to approach the police.

The case is being probed. No one has yet been arrested, police added.
