New Delhi: Six persons, including two juveniles, who allegedly stabbed a man to death after robbing him of his mobile phone and cash in northeast Delhi’s Nand Nagri area, have been apprehended, police said today.
The accused have been identified as Pappe, Bablu, Faiz, Mota and the two juveniles who were a gang which allegedly used to target lone walkers near a petrol pump on Wazirabad Road in Nand Nagri area, police said.
On Wednesday, police found the body of a 30-year-old man near the petrol pump. He had a stab injury on his chest. Once identified, the investigators started tracking his missing mobile phone and zeroed down on one Praveen.
It was Praveen who disclosed identities of the ones who had sold him the phone, leading the police team to the gang.
They were all apprehended within 24 hours of the incident, DCP (Northeast) A K Singla said.
