A six-day-old infant was found in an agricultural field in Mottigondi village under Ardhaveedu mandal of Prakasham district on Thursday.
The villagers, who found the kid, have admitted it to Kambham hospital. They suspect that some unwed mother must have abandoned the child. (NSS)
