6.6-magnitude quake hits off Russia’s far eastern coast

New York: An earthquake measuring 6.6 magnitude jolted 235 km West-southwest of Nikolskoye, Russia on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 65.0 km, was initially determined to be at 53.995 degrees north latitude and 162.995 degrees east longitude, Xinhua reported.
