Mumbai, August 20: The most famous hit on-screen couple of Bollywood Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is again going to lead with their pair on the silver screen in the forthcoming movie “De Dana Dan”.
This new comedy flick starring stunt man Akhay Kumar, with Barbie girl Katrina Kaif are joining up with great comedian Paresh Rawal, gorgeous Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy with macho man Sunil Shetty.
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have a marvelous onscreen chemistry. They have already delivered 3 hits out of 4 films that they have done together.
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif who started together in the flicks like “Namaste London” followed by “Welcome” and then “Singh is King”, all under the banner of Vipul Shah. Akshay Kumar is the newly crowned king of the tinsel world.
This time Vipul Shah is going to produce the comedy movie under the direction of Priyadarshan. The flick is going to raise the sets by the month November this year and will be shot in a two-month long schedule in Singapore.
Previously, the south Indian actress Asin was supposed to act opposite to Akshay Kumar but she discontinued with the flick due to some date problem.
A source in the industry reveals, “After the success of the movie “Singh Is King”, there was a strong buzz that this pair will not work together any more. The producer of the film, Vipul Shah announced, however, that the on-screen hit couple would be seen in his untitled film, which he intends to start after London Dreams. But it seems that Ratan Jain of Venus Records and Tapes have got Katrina to sign on the dotted line for his next multi-starrer titled De Dana Dan opposite Akshay Kumar. The comedy film is directed by Priyadarshan and also stars Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy”.
