As part of creating awareness on safety on highways, MVNR Engineering College organized a 5K run on the Necklace Road here on Friday.
Senior BJP leader and Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy and Transport Minister P. Mahendar Reddy jointly flagged off the run.
Speaking on the occasion, Dattatraya exhorted people to follow Traffic suggestions and wear helmets for their own safety. The ministers also released a calendar on safety on highways on the occasion.
