Fourth Estate Voluntary Organisation and Brilliant Educational Institutions organized 5K Run on the Necklace Road here on Sunday. Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy flagged off the run.
Speaking on this occasion, the Home Minister said the Telangana State government was stuck to the welfare of handicapped and orphans. The government will provide every facility to them till they get jobs, he assured. He said that more than 20 youth from every village were dying due to country-made liquor and keeping this in view the government was introducing cheap liquor at low price for the poor. He asked the Opposition leaders to extend their support in this regard.
Several youths participated in the run. Brilliant Educational Institutions Chairman Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, Fourth Estate representatives Kishor Babu, Mohammed Rafi, Somanna and others participated in the program. (NSS)
