54% Muslims of A.P. support YSR Congress

(Siasat News) In A.P. 54% of the Muslims are supporting YSR Congress in the state. Not only political affiliations are changing but it is resulting in the change of political loyalties as well. Voters themselves want to alter political scenario. Political parties and their leaders need their introspection. An English TV channel surveyed the political situation, by elections, voters choice and also to know the pulse of various sections of the society and people of different religions. The survey has revealed many surprising revelations. Minorities especially the Muslims have been the vote bank of Congress in the past but they are going astray from it now.

54% of the Muslims are now supporting YSR Congress. The other minorities are also inclined towards YSR Congress. There are also the voters of Reddy community who support YSR Congress whereas 47% of them support TDP. Congress enjoys the support of 46% Kapus. Out of 294 assembly constituencies, in more than 90 segments, Muslims have a decisive role. In more than 60 constituencies Muslims can play an important role. People have witnessed TDP and Congress during the past 18 years very closely. Mr. Chiranjeevi had formed Praja Rajyam Party in 2009 with the slogan of social justice and change but it failed to gain public confidence. In less than 3 years time, Mr. Chiranjeevi merged his party into Congress.

After Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s death, his son Jagan Mohan Reddy attempted to meet the people who had sacrificed their lives after listening to the sad news of demise of Dr. YSR. Ms. Sonia Gandhi didn’t permit him to do so. As a result of which he resigned from Congress and formed YSR Congress. By winning Kadapah Parliamentary seat with a thumping majority of 5 Lakh votes, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy created problems for Congress and TDP. While marching towards by elections, he gave the message of change to people. The ruling congress is more worried about the general elections of 2014 than the present by elections. The members of both the political parties are feeling themselves insecure. They feel that if they continue to remain in their parties, they have no guarantee of winning elections next time. At the same time, the other leaders of these political parties are engaged in planning their future political career. Everyone is preferring YSR Congress as an alternative. MLA’s are also waiting for the opportune time to change their loyalties. Not only this, the other regional and national parties are also concentrating on YSR Congress.

Chief Minister of U.P. Mr. Akhilesh Yadav is in contact with YSR Congress. The allies of UPA and NDA are also establishing their contacts directly or indirectly with YSR Congress party because the era of national level political parties ruling the country has come to an end. Regional political parties are now playing an important role in the formation of Central Govt. in New Delhi.
