Hyderabad: Chandranagar police booked a case against a private hospital on the basis of complaint made by the parents of a young girl who died due to hospital’s apathy and negligence.
According to sources 5-year-old, Zeba, was shifted to a Children’s hospital at Chandranagar where doctors asked the poor parents to immediately deposit Rs 7000. Zeba’s father who is an electrician by occupation had no money, he however managed to arrange Rs. 3000. But the hospital administration refused to take the money and start medical aid until 7000 is not deposited. Zeba’s health deteriorated and she died after a while. She had high fever.
On the basis of complaint Chandranagar police began stringent action against the hospital for negligence. Locals have demanded to seal the hospital and cancel its licence.
