On Tuesday afternoon, a 13-year-old boy allegedly molested a five-year-old girl at Bayyavaram village in Kurichedu mandal, Prakasam. The accused, a Class VII student, invited the victim to his house and molested her.
The victim and the accused happen are closely related to each other and their family members tried to button up the incident.
Sub-Inspector S. Rajesh of Kurichedu went to the village after he came to know of the incident and shifted the girl to the government hospital in Darsi.Darsi circle Inspector Pratap Kumar also visited the village.
The victim’s mother is no more and she lives with her father and her three older sisters stay with their uncle in Guntur. The boy has been absconding.
