According to the Incharge DCP Shamshabad zone T Narayana, Police apprehended a gang of 5 persons Shiaik Obaid (27) auto driver R/o kalapathar, Syed Salman Hussain (20) a Driver R/o Balapur of Phisalbanda, Mohammed Salman (22) a Chicken Centre Worker R/o Jalpally of Saroornagar, Mohammed Shaker (23) an Auto Driver R/o Pahadishareef was caught by Pahadi Shareef police and Mohammed Khaleel (22) a Car Driver R/o Sadat nagar Errakunta of Saroornagar was caught by south zone task force who were involved in the offences of Dacoity, Robbery, Motor Cycle thefts in the limits of Pahadishareef PS, Rajendranagar PS of Cyberabad and Kanchanbagh PS, Rein Bazaar, Falaknuma police stations of Hyderabad and recovered One Pistol, 3 Rounds, 3 knives, 3 Motorcycles, 4700 rupees net cash are seized.
Previously Shaik Obaid was involved in the offences of Dacoity, Robbery, attempt to murder, motor cycle thefts etc was arrested by police and sent to jail. After releasing the jail Obaid have formed a gang with MO Criminals along with one Ashwaq. Rafeeq and have started committing offences of Dacoity, Robbery, and motor cycle thefts. Obaid who had been to Gujarath, had met with one Ashwaq and with his help have purchased one pistol 7.65mm and 20 round ammunition at Meerut from one Ateeq native of Meerut and subsequently returned to Hyderabad and started committing the offences.
Obaid ,Salman and Rafeeq have committed theft of motor cycle in the limits of Kanchanbagh In the month of Dec 2013,
Jan 2014 third week Obaid, Shaker and Ashwaq have lurked into the jewellery shop in the limits of Rein bazaar ps on the point of pistol and knives they have robbed the shop keeper and stolen gold 96 grams and silver ornaments and net cash rs 30 thousand.
In the second week of January 2014 Obaid along with Ashwaq have lurked into the western money transfer office attacked the accountant and robbed rs 2 thousand.
In the month of January 2014 Obaid, Salman and Shaker theft a motor cycle in the limits of Rajendranagar police station.
Again obaid, Salman Hussain, Md salman, md shaker ands md khaleel having armed with pistol and knives have restrained motor cyclist near jalpally cargo road attacked him with knives and threatened on the point of pistol and robbed rs 20 thousand on Jan 18 2014.
After committing the above offence they have stopped one auto near RR Masala company jalpally village attacked him with knives and also on the point of pistol and robbed rs 14,900/- on seeing the dacoits when the public gathered to apprehend them, the dacoits opened three round fire with the pistol causing fear and terror in the public and escaped from the spot.
Today Jan 24 on receipt of credible information about the presence of some unknown persons under suspicious circumstances, might be thieves, the police party consisting of Inspector Pahadi Shareef D Bhaskar Reddy along with Sub Inspectors Veera Prasad, Ravi and crime staff have rushed to the spot near jalpally lake from different directions and rounded up all the MO Criminals and on search found them in possession of dangerous weapons and apprehended and brought to the pahadi shareef ps and on interrogation all the above accused confessed to have committed the offences as noted above.
Police said 14 rounds are said to be in the possession of Absconding accused Ashwaq. The apprehended five persons are being produced before the XIV metropolitan magistrate cyberabad for judicial remand. (INN)
