Rawalpindi, May. 2 (ANI): At least five prisoners were arrested from Bahawalpur and Adyala jails in Pakistan for their alleged involvement in a plot to carry out terrorist attacks on the Army. According to sources, the prisoners were accused of conspiring to attack the troops and army top brass. The alleged plotters are reported to have links with Pakistani Taliban leaders in Miranshah and Kohat. They were arrested after they made telephonic contacts with Pakistani Taliban activists, reports The News. The accused, who had been detained in Bahawalpur and Adyala jails for the last 3 years, have been shifted to an unknown location for further investigation. (ANI)
