In an incident occurred at Bholakpur Musheerabad, 5 minor boys were injured in tube light condenser blast while cleaning the scrap. It is said that Azharuddin, Azhar Pasha and Sarwar shifted the scrap from Kamareddy, Nizamabad after purchasing it and gave the contract of cleaning it to Maqsood.
Maqsood hired 5 children Sohail Ahmed (13), Abid Husain (11), Mohammed Imamuddin (13), Samiuddin (13), Mohammed Asif (11) and Mohammed Sameer (13) to clean the scrap for Rs. 50 per head.
Suhail Ahmed was separating condensers from tube lights by breaking them when a blast occurred and he sustained serious injuries. Suhail Ahmed lost 4 fingers of his left hand during the accident. While Abid Husain sustained eye injury. The other children also sustained minor injuries.
