5 member gang involved in bus theft arrested

Hyderabad, December 5: West zone team of Central Crime Station police arrested a gang involved in bus theft in the twin cities and seized items worth 6 lakh from their possession. It is said that 60 year old Nirmala resident of Mangore village with the help of her friend 35 year old Syed Anwar who is an auto driver by occupation, was carrying out theft crimes.

According to details the arrested woman is the sister of dangerous criminal Naga Raju who were carrying out the crimes with the help of other sisters Lakshmi, Sridevi and brother in law Syed Anwar.

Police told that Naga Raju and Syed Anwar used to make their women gang members to wear burqa and shawls and leave them on bus stops. These women used to board the crowded busses and steal bags and luggage of passengers hiding them in their burqa and shawls.

Police seized 250 gram gold jewellery and other items worth 6 lakhs from their possession.
