5 killed in hijacked bus crash in China, suspect in custody

Beijing: At least five people, including a policeman, died and 22 others were wounded after a hijacked bus ploughed into pedestrians in Longyan city in southeastern China’s Fujian Province on Tuesday.

According to the city government, the mishap took place at around 3:20 pm (local time), while the wounded, including one with serious injuries, were rushed to local hospitals for immediate medical treatment, China’s state-run Xinhua News Agency reported.
