Hyderabad, November 11: Five persons, allegedly involved in brutal killing of a history-sheeter, Mohd Fazaluddin at Red Hills two days back were picked up by the police on Wednesday. They were taken into custody from various places following a tip-off, sources said.
However, the kingpin of the well-planned assassination is still absconding and police suspect he might be trying to flee the country.
Police have also seized the vehicle and weapons used in committing the offence.
Police had suspected gang rivalry behind the killing and checked on other gangs having rivalry with Fazaluddin. They narrowed down on the notorious Kaiser gang and tracked down five gang members in Bangalore, Kurnool and Mahabubnagar.
Sources said two accused who were caught are Yousuf Patel and Mohd Chouz. They are associates of Kaisar or Chor Kaisar, a city dossier criminal and history-sheeter of Habeebnagar police station. Special teams are on a hunt to nab him, a senior official said.
