49 LPG cylinders seized in Aurangabad, one nabbed

Aurangabad, August 21: The Crime Branch today seized 49 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders illegally stocked for selling in black market, police sources said today.

The seized cylinders were worth Rs 86,500, they said, adding one person has been nabbed in this connection.

The cylinders, some of the empty, were stocked in a shop in Wadgaon Kolhati village under the jurisdiction of MIDC Waluj police station, the sources said, adding they were from companies like BPCL and HPCL.

Acting on a tip off, a team led by Inspector Kanchankumar Chate and District Supply Officer R R Mandlod raided the shop belonging to one Sunil Chandrabhan Kale, who has been arrested.
