48-hour Telangana Bandh from today

Hyderabad, February 22: Elaborate security arrangements have been made in view of 48-hour Telangana Bandh. Pro Telangana organizations have chalked-out action plan to make the bandh a great success. All sections are likely to take part in 48-hour bandh to start from February 22. not only workers, educational institutions, theatres, business institutions have to decided to participate in the bandh but several organizations have also announced to take part.

In view of the bandh department of railway has announced to cancel all MMTS services while RTC has also decided to take buses off roads. It is said that RTC will not run buses in the next 48 hours.

According to reports Police have advised people to remain indoors unless there is any necessity. Besides that they have advised to avoid traveling.

Degree practical exams scheduled to be conducted on February 22 and 23 by Osmania University have been postponed.

According to reliable sources police have been ordered by the government to gear up for dealing with any kind of insurgency and protest and do not hesitate to deal it with in iron hand.

It has been told that leaders of pro Telangana political parties will stage dharnas during the bandh and demand tabling Telangana bill in the parliament.
