Around 40 ticketless cops were gone into hiding in train toilets to avoid being penalized by the TTE.
A surprise check was conducted on Mahakaushal Express and Chhattisgarh-bound Express trains, since they are considered the most opportune trains to travel between the neighboring districts of Agra and Mathura and the number of ticket less passengers are high in number, as per TOI reports.
A total of 103 passengers have been challaned by a team lead by the railway magistrate VK Singh along with assistant commandant of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and five other security personnel.
During an initiative against ticketless travelling, a group of 40 were reported to be civil police personnel, posted at various stations and outposts in the two districts.
A total of Rs 29,780 collected as fine and Rs 11,990 was collected from the civil police personnel.
