Sangareddy Police had arrested more than 40 Muslim youths in connection with the communal riots which took place on 29th March 2012 in Sangareddy. It had booked 19 cases against these youths. These youths were waiting for the judgment for the past three years.
The Judge of Munsif Court of Sangareddy, Mr. P. Durga Prasad and the Judge of Asst. Sessions Court, Sangareddy, Mr. Shaik Razzaku-z-Zaman pronounced separate judgment and exonerated all the 40 Muslim youths. The Muslims of Sangareddy welcomed this judgment and termed it as the victory of the truth. They congratulated the youths. The pleaders were garlanded.
