Washington: Melanie Griffith knows quite a lot about careers of women in Hollywood as she grew up under her actress mother Tippi Hedren.
In a recent interview, the 58-year-old actress spoke about how opportunities in the tinseltown decrease with the increasing age, reports People magazine.
“By the time you’re 40 in Los Angeles, you’re over the hill in the business,” said Griffith while accepting the fact that it takes women to be strong enough to change the perception.
Griffith, who was nominated for an Oscar in 1989 for her performance in the women-in-the-workplace empowerment classic ‘ Working Girl,’ cites Zoe Cassavetes, the director of her latest film, as an example. (ANI)
