Malkajgiri police arrested a man on Thursday who sexually assaulted a four-year-old girl who was visiting her cousin in his neighbourhood. According to reports Samuel, a medical representative, lured the girl by offering her chocolates.
The matter came to fore when the girl complained of pain in her private parts. After further interrogation the parents found out what had happened and they immediately lodged a complaint with the police.
A case has been registered against the medical representative under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and section 354 (Assault or criminal force intending to outraging the modesty of a women) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
