Bengaluru: A 21-year-old dance instructor of Bengaluru school was arrested by Amruthalli police for sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl on May 3.
The accused, Peter (21) , was appointed by a private school in Kempapura as a dance instructor to teach dance for summer camp students. Peter was arrested on a complaint given by the girl’s parents.
The girl complained of pain after returning from the camp. Her parents rushed her to the hospital where the doctor confirmed sexual assault. The parents took the second opinion from another hospital their also sexual assault is confirmed.
On asking the girl narrated her torment to her parents and the police and said Peter is responsible to the heinous act.
Peter was was arrested under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act). During interrogation he confessed his alleged crime. He was produced in a local court on Saturday which remanded him to judicial custody.
