4-year-old girl raped in Keesara

Hyderabad, October 07: In a gruesome incident, a four-yearold girl was allegedly raped by a 45-year-old man on the outskirts of the city. The accused is said to be involved in two more cases of raping minor girls in the Cyberabad police limits.

The four-year-old daughter of Yadagiri and Vijaya, both daily wage workers, is a resident of Nagaram village in Keesara mandal.

The girl’s mother went out on some work and returned one-and-a-half hours later only to find her daughter missing.

The girl’s parents launched a search and found her in the bushes with injuries.

“The girl was playing in front of her house in the absence of her parents when a 45-year-old man lured her to the nearby bushes,” Keesara police inspector T Manohar Reddy said. The accused, Arjun Singh, raped the girl and fled from the spot.

Arjun Singh is a scavenger and earlier worked in the house of the girl.

He is a resident of Dammaiguda, a village near Nagaram.

The girl told her about the incident following which Arjun Singh was nabbed. “Arjun Singh was also involved in two other cases of raping minor girls in the Kushaiguda police station limits,” the inspector said. Arjun Singh was taken into custody for interrogation.
