The four big recreational parks run by Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) which were closed to visitors following Dilsukhnagar twin blast on February 21 will remain shut for some more days. They will be opened for visitors only after ensuring effective security arrangements.
It must be noted that 4 sprawling recreational parks of Hyderabad NTR Garden, Laserium, Lumbini Park and Sanjiva Park remain closed since last Thursday. HMDA commissioner Nirabh Kumar Prasad in a meeting held with respective officials took stock of the situation and decided to remain the parks closed for some more days and to ensure effective security by installing CCTV cameras, metal detectors etc.
