4 member gang held for cheating unemployed youth

A four member gang, including a woman, was arrested by the city police for cheating the unemployed youth by promising them with a job in Indian Railways and collected money from them. Addressing a press conference, City Police Commissioner J Poornachandra Rao said that based on a private school teacher who was cheated by the gang the accused were arrested yesterday. Two members of the gang were Armed Reserve Constables working in visakhapatnam rural District. The Commissioner said the four accused conspired together. The woman accused P Neha Sajith posed as File Manager in Indian Railway while remaining three accused Armed Reserve (AR) Constables B Surya Prakasha Rao and K Srinivasa Rao and a water man in police training college, K Satyanarayana, made believe the un-employed gullible youth that they would be provided Railway jobs. The woman accused showed the youth fake identify card of Indian Railway and collected upto Rs 40 lakh from about 40 persons. Police recovered Rs three lakh in cash, 18.4 tulas gold ornaments, two cars which were purchased by the collected amount, 21 railway application forms and seven cellphones form Sajith, Rs 20,000 from K Satyanarayana, Rs 18,000 from K Srinivasara Rao and Rs 50,000 from B Suya Prakasharao.
