Manama, March 18: in Yemen say four anti-government protesters have been killed and about 50 others injured by gunfire during demonstrations in the capital Sana’a.
Yemeni forces opened fire at anti-government demonstrators in the capital city after Friday prayers to block protesters from marching out of the square where they had gathered,
The protesters rallied to repeat their demand for the ouster of the US-backed regime of Ali Abdullah Saleh.
On Saturday, over a dozen anti-government protesters were killed in clashes with regime forces across the country.
Scores of Yemenis have been killed and thousands more wounded since anti-government protests intensified in February.
