Four people were killed and 14 others injured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here today. They said a passenger vehicle skidded off the road and dashed with a tree at Nambal Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama resulting in on the spot death of Imran Khan and injuries to eight other passengers. The injured were admitted to different hospitals, they said. Three people injured were when a load carrier skidded off the road and fell into Baba canal at Arhama Ganderbal in central Kashmir. The injured were rushed to hospital where one of them identified as Mohammad Abdullah Dar was declared brought dead while two others referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in a critical condition. They said a vehicle hit and critically injured a cyclist Ghulam Nabi Sheikh at Sonawar. He was shifted to SKIMS, they said. A vehicle hit and injured two pedestrains Mohammad Ashraf Khan and Tanveer Ahmad Najar at Zaberwan Park on Boulvard road. The injured were admitted to hospital where Ashraf later died while another injured was rushed to SKIMS. A load carrier driver Shabir Ahmad Wani was injured when a vehicle hit him at Ranji Sopore while a motorcyclist and his pillion mate were injured after a vehicle hit them at Zangam in Baramulla. The injured were admitted to different hospitals.
