Ghaziabad, August 31: The Ghaziabad police has arrested four persons for allegedly murdering a 25-year-old bus helper. The accused have been identified as two of the biggest bus transporters in northeast Delhi Sanjeev Juneja and Ramesh Maurya. The two others arrested are Veerpal and Dipak, employees of the two accused.
“The accused killed Pannalal, a Gorakhpur resident, after suspecting that he had stolen one of their chartered buses’ battery. The deceased had changed his job and was residing in west Delhi. The accused abducted the victim and brought him to Dilshad Garden before finally lynching him. The victim’s body was dumped at a bush near Vaishali. We zeroed in on the accused on a tip off. We have also impounded a bus used by the accused to dispose off the body,” said Rahul Srivastav, DSP, Indirapuram.
