Lakhimpur Kheri: In a heartrending incident, 4 members of a family died and several others injured when a 100 ft. high masjid minaret fell down due to a wind storm. The minaret fell on a nearby house on Tuesday leaving 4 of the same family dead.
On Tuesday evening, four members of a family died and seven reportedly injured after a minaret of an adjacent masjid fell on their house at Bhudwara village in Gola area.
The toll due to the dust storm in Lakhimpur Kheri district increased to five after a 78-year-old woman in Roshan Nagar village died on Wednesday. Bitola Devi was buried alive as the walls of the house where she was sleeping collapsed.
