60-year-old farmer died after he was hit by lightning in Medak district on Thursday. The police sub inspector told that the farmer was working in a field when rain began. The farmer took refuge from rain under a nearby tree when the lightning hit him. He died on the spot. Another incident occurred in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh where three people died. All the three were agricultural labours.
