3rd batch of Hajj pilgrims set off with a delay of 4 hours

The 3rd batch of Hajj pilgrims going to Hajj through Hajj committee comprising of 300 Hajj aspirants set off to Jeddah with a special flight of Indian Airlines on Tuesday evening. However the flight was delayed for 4 hours. As a result pilgrims had to wait at the Hajj terminal of Shamsabad International Airport. They were provided lunch there itself.

It must be recalled that the first flight of Hajj pilgrims was also delayed for 4 hours.

Special officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor flagged off the 3rd batch of Hajj pilgrims. The flight which was scheduled to take off at 1:35 pm took off at 5 pm. The 3rd batch comprised of 109 pilgrims of Hyderabad, 34 of Nizamabad, 84 of Rangareddy, 17 of Nalgonda, 51 of Warangal, 2 of Vijayanagaram and 2 of Kadapa.

The 4th batch of Hajj Committee will leave on September 17 at 7:30 pm.
