Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) Director Amol A Gokhale inaugurated a three-day workshop on ‘Advances in computer simulation of solidification processes’ at National Institute of Technology in Warangal.
Explaining the significance of computer simulation in solidification process for high-tech components, the NIT director Prof T Srinivasa Rao asked the participants to make use of workshop and gain experience.
Experts from national laboratories, industry, universities and NIT professors are the resource persons for the workshop. Prof GS Reddy and Dr R Arockia Kumar of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department are the organisers.
