Forest and Environment Minister Jogu Ramanna today said that 12 new circles will be formed and fill up 37 forest division officer posts. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao gave his nod for the recruitment of the staff in the forest wing he said. Ramanna held a review meeting with the officials and said that the department will be strengthened followed by reorganization of the districts.
Speaking on the occasion, the forest minister said that as part of reorganization it was decided to set up 185 ranges, 831 sections and 3,132 beats in the wing. The minister also said that the district forest officers posts will be filled up and upgraded ABO posts as FBO. As per KCR directive steps have been taken to appoint posts in the department based on the expansion of the forest area in the state. New districts are meant for smooth governance and easy delivery of services at the door steps of the people he claimed. (NSS)
