Hyderabad, December 26: State Education Department in collaboration with central government has given permission to set up 355 model schools. These model schools will be in the mode of Kendrya schools in which each school will be sanctioned a grant of Rs. 3.02 crore while 75 lakh will be issued yearly for administrative purposes.
It is said that State government would bear 25 percent out of the total expenditure. Funds of Rs 1200 crore are likely to be sanctioned by the central government. The medium of instruction for the schools with 6th to 12th standard will be English.
To provide education facility through English medium 3500 teachers would be recruited under RMSA. Notification will be shortly issued in this regard.
